Michigan Regional Search

I am seeking information regarding these early Jubinville/Jubenville settlers in Michigan.

Jean-Baptiste Jubinville (Detroit, 1807)

Jean-Baptiste Jubinville (son of Joseph Jubinville and Marie Joseph Rhéaume) married Catherine Dufour on August 11, 1807, in Detroit, Michigan.

Their second son, Joseph, was born November 13, 1808, in Detroit. According to the 1830 Michigan census, Joseph was still living with his parents.

The Mystery: I am looking for any descendants of this Joseph. Did he leave the Detroit area or start a family locally?

Edward James Jubenville (Boyne City)

Edward James Jubenville (1850–1914) lived in Boyne City and Flat Rock, Michigan. He married Mary Ellen Sanborn in 1877. His siblings likely included Albert, Charlie, Felix, Hank, Julie, Tom, and Zoe.

Children: Charles Adjudy, Lester, Frank E., and Vera.

The Mystery: While we have many descendants of Edward, we are still missing the identity of Edward’s parents.
